Report writing that keeps up with how you actually work
Valique (pronounced Val-I.Q.) is a browser based appraisal report builder for Canadian appraisers. Your templates and snippets where you need them, a quality check before you sign off, and inspection data that arrives from the field already in the report.
Request early accessBuilt with appraisers, for appraisers
Value Connect has been building software for appraisers for years, starting with a report builder shaped by input from working appraisers, then a mobile inspection app used in the field on iPhone and Android.
Valique is the newest of those tools. It came out of feedback from dozens of appraisers over hundreds of hours of design work, and it is built for Canadian practice.
What you get
The parts of report writing that are mechanical should be mechanical. The parts that need your judgment stay yours.
Start from where you left off
Clone a previous report or start from one of your own templates, then pick only the forms and addendums the assignment actually needs. Coming back to a report you started earlier in the day? No problem. Just open it and you'll be taken directly to the place where you left off.
Your report, in your order
Set the order your pages and addendums appear in both the live report and the PDF export. Optional pages appear only when their addendum is selected.
Write it once
Save your own templates, snippets, and common responses. Your qualifications live in your profile and flow onto the qualifications page of every report.
Checks before you certify
Validation as you work, plus a pre submission quality check that flags what is incomplete or inconsistent before the report goes out the door.
Field work that syncs
The Value Connect mobile inspection app captures data, photos, and sketches on iPhone and Android without a connection, and syncs into your report when you are back online.
Nothing to install
valique runs in your browser on Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox, on desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone.
English and French
Both working languages available in the software.
Set it up your way
Measurement preferences, assessment dates, signature, and your own report logo in the footer of every page. Configure it once and get on with the work.
Defensible by construction
A report is defensible when a reader can follow it from evidence to conclusion without you in the room. Most of that is judgment, and no software replaces it. What software can do is carry the mechanical parts: keeping a figure consistent everywhere it appears, keeping the photo set organized against the narrative it supports, and flagging gaps while you write rather than after you finish.
